Crafted by the youngest Cuban Rum Master and aged for 7 years minimum in white oak ex-whisky barrels, Eminente Reserva possesses the aesthetics of a traditional Cuban light rum but with the complexity and depth of a very old one.
WHY WE LOVE IT
Eminente Reserva is at once intense and delicate on the nose.
The initial aroma of freshly roasted coffee gives way to softer notes of dulce de leche, toasted almond and cocoa.
Full-bodied and incredibly deep, the palate is rich with vanilla and smoky notes, coffee and raspadura, which is the taste of unrefined cane sugar.
Spicy notes of ginger and Sichuan pepper with a slight taste of prune in the background. Unsurprisingly, this is a long finish, fresh and creamy with notes of chocolate and a hint of smoke.
HOW TO ENJOY IT ?
Ideal for sipping, over a large ice cube or in cocktail.

Produced in more than 80 countries, it is in Cuba that the best conditions in the Caribeean are met to grow sugarcanes. With more than 100 variaties of canes, among which 70 are exclusive to the island, Cuba produces high quality molasses.
César Martí carefully distills molasses to 75% ABV (alcohol by volume), creating the most complex and flavourful Cuban eaux-de vie called « aguardientes », which are then aged in white oak ex-whisky barrels, blended and aged again with traditional light Cuban rum distilled to 95% ABV.
Reserva is aged for 7 years minimum blending aguardientes, that bring the complexity of aromas, and light rums, that add vitality thanks to the strength of the alcohol. César sets new standards with Reserva which contains 70% of aged aguardientes, the highest proportions among all Cuban Rums.
Eminente is one of only a handful of Cuban rums to be given the coveted ‘Denominación de Origen Protegida’ status. Granted by a Regulatory Council, the D.O.P. Ron de Cuba dictates strict rules which ensure the authenticity and high standards of Cuban Rum.
