Cultivating the Future
Creation of a Seed Bank in Cuba

A partnership
Eminente is embarking on a new initiative in partnership with Annabelle Cantarero to support sustainable agriculture in Cuba. Together, we aim to create a seed bank to preserve and enrich local biodiversity. This project includes the construction of a cold room powered by solar energy and greenhouses designed for seed preservation as well as for growing young plants and vegetables such as cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers.
A three-year project
This three-year project will directly benefit the local community by allocating a large portion of its resources to support neighboring farmers, local markets, and distillery workers. These funds will be redistributed in the form of donations or at a loss, thus contributing to the creation of a solidarity-based and sustainable agricultural ecosystem. A more modest portion of the resources generated will be reinvested in the project itself, ensuring its continuity and long-term viability. This approach aims to create a positive impact while ensuring the sustainable development of the initiative.
